Once again I am lucky enough to be working at the SFO Tattoo Convention this year! This weekend from the 26th -28th. If you’re in the area please take the time to check this out. Some of the best tattooers in the world will be in attendance tattooing, selling prints, and flash, and machines. Some will even be open to take walk ups! If you know me at all chances are you know that I am, and have been for a long time, unhealthily obsessed with Twin Peaks.

I Painted a TP pork chop sheet and did a few tattoos based on the show and since then, I’ve gotten to do more and more Twin Peaks tattoos. I love it. I never get tired of these or trying to make new ones. Here’s a bunch from the past year or so. Some are real obvious, some are a bit more subtle, but I had a great time with all of them, and would love to do more. Hope you enjoy.
For the past few years I’ve been working on drawing roses increasingly weirder, but still based on real roses. More and more deconstructed, kind of like how I treated letters when I was a graffiti writer. Leave essential parts intact, while abstracting the image as a whole. I don’t know if I’m going anywhere with this, and I’m certainly not saying I’m doing some super original new dance or anything, I mean I’ve seen plenty of people do angular roses, but I’m trying to make something happen with these that feels like mine. Here’s a few examples. Again, in no particular order of when they were done, plus some process shots of doing one of these on a good friend, and fellow tattooer, Noah Moore’s head. Hope you enjoy.

Been working on a sleeve on a client for about five months of trips to Three Kings in Brooklyn. Was pretty happy with the out come. I’d love to get healed flicks of this at some point.

Did this on my friend Michael. I’ve tattooed him like 5 or 6 times. He just recently got back from deployment overseas and I was psyched to see he was OK.
I did a guest spot at Broad St. Tattoo in Bridgewater Massachusetts. This is the second time I’ve done a spot there and it’s always a blast. Everyone there is great to me and I love visiting. Thanks to Joe, Chris, Mike, John, Larry and Reid. The owl tattoo with the shield and eye was done during this visit and here’s a few others.
This is on my friend Jebb, whom I didn’t realize until that day played in the Doomriders.He floated me some band schwag due to being a true stand up gentleman, and hooked the dudes up at the shop with gear as well for cheaps. Jebb has work from Grez, Mike Shea, Erick Lynch, Josh Mcalear, Chad Koeplinger, and Steve Boltz. So it wasn’t nerve wracking at all to do this tattoo. Nope. Not at all. Dick. Next time we’re doing a big key going through his neckpiece.
I did this on my friend ,Chris Cautillo who works at the shop. It was a fun little jammie. We didn’t get a chance to tattoo him last time so it was a priority this time.
Did this on my friend J.D. We had planned something else but that’s going to be epic so we’re doing it next time. I’ve tattooed J.D. twice before this and we’re going to try to fill up most of the rest of his arm next sessions. Maybe one more after that to fill up some gaps and shit.
This fucking guy showed up with a sleeveless Slipknot shirt and asked me if I had any extra cream. The fuck does that mean?
